I got confirmation today that we'll be submitting to publishers on Monday. Luckily i'm on nights until Wednesday morning, so i'll be able to sleep through the day and not be checking my emails every thirty seconds.
It's been several months of tough editing, and my agents have done a sterling job, helping me to change the book from an OK crime thriller with average characters into the piece of work that it is now.
If anything exciting happens, i promise you'll be the third to know (after family, of course), so watch this space and be prepared to celebrate or commiserate depending on what happens in the next 7 days...
